NBC's Saturday Today show was the top-rated network morning show during April 2009, well ahead of 2nd place Good Morning America, in both Total Viewers and the A25-54 demo.

However ABC and CBS' Saturday edition of The Early Show grew in Total Viewers year-to-year, while NBC declined. CBS was up the most. In the demo, CBS was flat while NBC and ABC were down.
