May Ratings: Today's 50th in a Row
For the 50th straight sweep, NBC's Today show is the number one network morning show in Total Viewers and number one in the A25-54 demo for the 56th consecutive sweep.
May 2008 brought the largest sweep victory for the program since February 2004 (excluding Olympic coverage in 2006). Today had its best May sweep advantage over ABC's Good Morning America since May 2003.
In the demo, Today averaged a 2.9, compared to GMA's 2.4 and CBS' The Early Show's 1.2.
