NBC's Today show was the #1 network morning show again last week, although it was the smallest gap between NBC and ABC's Good Morning America since the week of November 24, 2008. GMA was also the only program to grow week-to-week in Total Viewers. CBS' The Early Show was the only program to grow in Total Viewers compared to the same week last year.

Today won its 55th consecutive quarter in the first quarter of 2009. GMA closed the gap, however — it was the smallest Q1 Total Viewer gap between the two programs since 2007 and smallest in the A25-54 demo since 2005.
