The Today show continues a winning streak that is in its 13th year. And on Thursday the NBC morning show had its widest advantage over GMA since Meredith Vieira's debut. Today averaged 6,482,000 viewers for the day, a 1,915,000 lead over Good Morning America. Excluding anchor changes and the Olympics, Thursday's win came with the widest lead since March 12, 2004 — the day after the Madrid bombings.
