MSNBC Scores Early, But FNC Still Winning Prime

While the 5p, 6p, and 7pmET MSNBC programs have benefited from an Olympics lead-in this week, Fox News Channel still leads in prime time (8pm-11pmET). In fact, on the last two nights, Wednesday and Thursday FNC has beaten their competitors — combined — in the ad-friendly A25-54 demo.

• Last night, FNC averaged 490,000 vs. MSNBC’s 241,000 and CNN’s 179,000.

• Wednesday night, FNC averaged 475,000 vs. MSNBC’s 235,000 and CNN’s 234,000.
