NABET & MSNBC, Update

An insider writes that NABET’s attempt to organize MSNBC tech ops employees who recently moved from New Jersey to New York, at least in this person’s opinion, “is not going to happen.” An email from the insider:

The Nabet/MSNBC thing is not going to happen. I’ve spoken to a bunch of the other tech ops and we’re generally happy with where we are. Sure we could all use a little more money, but the union system of doing things seems very antiquated to us. All Nabet has done has invited us to these ‘parties’ and put mouse pads in the control rooms as some sort of reminder. I’d be surprised if anything changes at this point in time.
