NBC Staffer: “Enraged” By NYT Story

An NBC staffer writes to TVNewser with a response to Alessandra Stanley’s NYTimes critique: “I had to write because I am so enraged by today’s article in the NY Times about TODAY and Katie Couric. I have worked at TODAY for 25 years and with Katie Couric for over half of that time. I have loved working here and Katie Couric has been one important reason I enjoy my job as much as I do. Katie is bright, fun, caring and one of the most supportive and loyal people I have ever known. It is a shame that people write such appallingly inaccurate articles (like the one today) without talking to those people who interract with Matt and Katie daily.

Luckily 6.2 million viewers disagree with the article as well because they make it a point to tune in every day to watch Katie and Matt.”
