SOTU: NBC #1 For Post-Speech Analysis
"Immediately following the President's address, NBC's post-speech analysis -- led by Brian Williams and Tim Russert (10:03 - 10:15 p.m., ET) -- was top-rated," the net notes.
NBC's analysis averaged 8,811,000 total viewers. ABC came in second with 6,857,000, narrowly beating CBS's 6,584,000.
During the second round of analysis following the Democratic response, ABC's lead over CBS widened a bit. ABC averaged 5,310,000 viewers during the second analysis, while CBS had 4,780,000. (NBC didn't air Analysis II.)
