NBC’s Shapiro Promotes David Verdi & Mark Lukasiewicz To Vice Prez Positions

NBC News president Neal Shapiro sent this message to NBC staffers today:

“I am happy to announce David Verdi has been promoted to Vice President. In addition to his duties supervising news coverage, he will also take on more responsibility, helping to manage NBC’s relationships with our international partners.

I am also happy to announce that Mark Lukasiewicz is being promoted to Vice President. In his new role, he will be work closely with the newly announced NBC Universal Digital Media team and oversee our new digital technologies such as NBC Mobile. Mark will continue in his role as Executive Producer of NBC News Specials. Please join me in congratulating them.”
