Networks Cover as House Passes Bailout

Well, second time’s a charm. The House passed the bailout bill this afternoon which was approved earlier this week by the Senate. All the networks (and cablers) took the vote live as it was ending around 1:24pmET. Charles Gibson anchored on ABC, Kelly Wallace on CBS and Brian Williams on NBC. When President Bush took to the podium just after 2pmET, only ABC cut in for a special report:
