New Set, Graphics for ‘Face the Nation’
The Martin Luther King, Jr. National Memorial dedication may be postponed because of Hurricane Irene, but on Sunday’s “Face the Nation,” Bob Schieffer will talk about Dr. King’s legacy with Gen. Colin Powell who is a member of the National Memorial Project. The show will also debut a new set design, with new graphics presenting what CBS calls “a fresh look and feel for one of the longest-running news programs in television history.” That would be November 7, 1954.
