TVNewser was there as friends and colleagues feted veteran newswoman Helen Thomas and MSNBC political analyst Craig Crawford at their book party in Washington, DC last night. The pair have collaborated on Listen Up, Mr. President: Everything You Always Wanted Your President to Know and Do.

Crawford, also a Congressional Quarterly columnist, tells TVNewser he recently re-upped with MSNBC. Network colleague Andrea Mitchell was in attendance, as were CNN correspondents Suzanne Malveaux and Dan Lothian, and CNN political director Sam Feist.

Listen Up, Mr. President… explores the “qualities, attitudes, and political and personal choices that make for the most successful leaders, and the least.”
