Mark Preisler, previously executive producer at Sportscenter, is skating to NHL Network as executive producer where he’ll “be involved with all aspects of the Network’s programming and production.”

Prior to seven years at Sportscenter, Preisler spent two years as senior coordinating producer for Baseball Tonight.

Named Executive Producer after Acclaimed Career at ESPN
NEW YORK (January 10, 2011) – Two-time Emmy award-winning producer Mark Preisler has been named to the position of Executive Producer of the NHL Network U.S. and Creative Consultant with NHL Network Canada, the National Hockey League announced today. In his new position, Preisler will be involved in all aspects of the Network’s programming and production, including the nightly NHL On The Fly show and its on-air talent and production staff. He will also oversee the creation of content and distribution to NHL platforms and direct all special programming at signature League events such as the Winter and Heritage Classic games, All-Star Weekend and the Stanley Cup Final.
Preisler has spent the last ten years in multiple roles with ESPN — including two years as the senior coordinating producer for Baseball Tonight and seven years as an executive producer with SportsCenter. He won two Emmy Awards for his work on SportsCenter and worked closely with ESPN’s sales and marketing teams to launch its HD news channel.
