Obama Hardball Promo Pulled

The Huffington Post’s Danny Shea reports MSNBC pulled a promo for Hardball with Chris Matthews today featuring a tease relating to Michelle Obama‘s “political image makeover.”

The ad featured female silhouettes with words like “Her New Outlook?” appearing on the screen.

A statement from MSNBC said, “The artwork should not have been used, it was inappropriate. We pulled the spot this morning and it was re-done without those images.”

A representative told HuffPost the ad played “once or twice” — it was at least twice, as a longer version aired during Countdown last night.
