CNN’s Don Lemon reported at 10:12pmET during “Newsroom,” citing the NBC News report through the rest of the hour. DC anchors Wolf Blitzer and John King called-in, with King speculating that the White House had held the news Sunday because they wanted the terrorism officials out on the public affairs shows earlier in the day.
FNC’s Marianne Rafferty reported during a news update at 10:32pmET, also citing NBC News. Fox News also interrupted “Huckabee” for a more full report at 11:07pmET, with Shannon Bream calling in.
