One Year Later, ABC’s Bill Weir Returns to Japan

Sunday is the one-year anniversary of the devastating earthquake and tsunami that struck Japan on March 11, 2011. ABC’s Bill Weir, who reported from Japan last year, traveled back to the region this week to report on the rebuilding process.

Weir and his crew took photos of the same locations where “World News” anchor Diane Sawyer reported from last year (view the full slideshow here). Weir’s one-year report will air on “World News” Friday.
