Paula Zahn & Campbell Brown’s Futures

“If and when Paula Zahn leaves CNN, the other TV news operations won’t be caught by surprise,” Page Six says in a strange item today.

“The leading candidate to take Zahn’s slot is Campbell Brown, the underutilized anchor for the weekend edition of NBC’s Today. She’s said to be frustrated, but NBC evidently doesn’t have any plum job to offer her at the moment.”

“She’s under contract until the end of June,” an NBC spokeswoman told The Post. “We hope she stays with us for a very long time.” (In other words: she’s packing up?)

Page Six thinks The Early Show is called “CBS Morning News.” And the page says MSNBC’s Amy Robach has the inside track to replace Campbell…
