PBS To Air Biopic Of Betty Ford

Betty Ford.jpgTomorrow night at 10pmET, PBS presents Betty Ford: The Real Deal, a one-hour profile of the former First Lady.

This is the second in a series on the “Modern First Ladies.” The first installment focused on Lady Bird Johnson.

The program includes excerpts of a 2002 interview with Mrs. Ford — who turns 91 on April 8 — as well as interviews with her four children and close friends. Historians Michael Bechloss and Richard Norton Smith lend their thoughts as well.

Next up in the “Modern First Ladies” pipeline: Nancy Reagan.
