Power Balance LLC has reached a five-year tentative agreement with the Sacramento Kings to take over the naming rights, ending a 25-year relationship with ARCO. According to Sactown Royalty, the arena will be renamed the Power Balance Pavilion.
Terms of the Power Balance deal weren’t immediately available but ARCO paid an estimated $700,000 a year for the naming rights.
If Power Balance doesn’t ring a bell, they are in the middle of a controversy for their athletic wristbands. The company recently released a statement on its Australian website admitting there’s no credible scientific evidence to support their claims and that they engaged in misleading conduct.
