Pres. Obama Chastises Adviser for Watching Too Much TV

During this weekend’s Women in the World event hosted by The Daily Beast, Pres. Obama’s senior adviser Valerie Jarrett admitted to a daily cable television habit. “I watch Morning Joe every morning,” she told CBS’ Lesley Stahl.

Not surprisingly, she had some harsh words for a Fox Newser: “I don’t watch Glenn Beck. I watched it once, but I couldn’t finish the show. I was not entertained,” Jarrett said.

Jarrett says Pres. Obama calls her out for watching so much TV. “He chastises me regularly, saying ‘Turn it off. You’re making me crazy, just stop it.’” When Stahl asked Jarrett if she watches her show, “60 Minutes,” Jarrett said, “Yes. Everybody watches 60 Minutes. That’s serious journalism.”
