Q1 #s: Cable Program Ranker

Only on TVNewser: Here’s the program ranker (PDF) for the first quarter of 2005. Bill O’Reilly is #1 with 2.4 million viewers, H&C is #2 and the Fox Report is #3. FNC has 11 of the top 12 shows on cable news, with CNN’s Larry King interfering at #6. CNN’s People in the News specials were CNN’s second-highest-rated show during the quarter. NewsNight was third, 360 was fourth, and CNN Presents was fifth. Nancy Grace is beating every MSNBC show: MS doesn’t appear until the bottom of the first page of the ranker. Hardball is #1 with 414,000 viewers, Imus is #2 and “MSNBC Investigates” (??) is #3, Countdown is #4 and Scarborough Country is #5. Connected is struggling toward the bottom of the list.
