Q2 Ratings: CNN Headline News Continues To Beat MSNBC In Total Day & Prime

Once again, CNN Headline News has beaten MSNBC. Accordingly, this blog will now list HLN before MSNBC in daily ratings — It is clear that CNN Headline News is now the #3 cable news network, while MSNBC is #4.

In the second quarter of 2005, HLN outperformed MSNBC by 6% among total viewers and 16% in the 25-54 demographic (Mon-Sun total day). In weekday primetime, HLN outdelivered MSNBC by 18& among total viewers and 16% in the 25-54 demo. Here are the raw numbers, provided by CNN:
