Q3 Ratings: CNN Up 59% In 25-54 Demo

In the 25-54 demographic, CNN recorded the biggest gains in the third quarter of 2005. The network was up 59% in both P2+ and P25-54 compared to the same quarter in 2004.

FNC averaged 656,000 viewers in primetime, up 22% from Q3 2004; the network beat CNN and MSNBC combined. CNN’s primetime demo average of 406,000 is lower than FNC’s, but its increase from the year ago, 59%, is much bigger. MSNBC had 209,000 viewers, up 46%.

In total day, FNC had 404,000 viewers (up 22%) while CNN had 260,000 (up 59%) and MSNBC had 132,000 (up 29%).
