Summer primetime ratings for the Fox News Channel were off 24 percent compared to last summer, Multichannel News reports.

From late May through August, among basic cable networks, USA was #1, Disney was #2, TNT was #3, Lifetime was #4,and TBS and Cartoon Network tied for #5.
