CNN's ratings headline today: "CNN Closes Gap with Fox News to Narrowest Margin in More than a Year (19% in Prime P25-54 in Sept.)" In the 25-54 demographic, the 5pm hour of The Situation Room beat FNC's Big Story, with 668,000 vs. 642,000 viewers.

The second live hour of NewsNight, with Aaron Brown and Anderson Cooper, also beat the Factor repeat in the demo, with 797,000 vs. 756,000 viewers.
