Rep. Conyers “Personally Offended” By Fox’s “Complete Disregard For Accuracy”

Fox’s apology apparently wasn’t enough. Rep. John Conyers released this statement today:

“Fox News has a history of inappropriate on-air mistakes that are neither fair, nor balanced. This type of disrespect for people of color should no longer be tolerated. I am personally offended by the network’s complete disregard for accuracy in reporting and lackluster on-air apology.”

The WP says “a Fox News Washington bureau official sent an email to Conyers aides ‘profusely apologizing’” yesterday, saying the network was “deeply sorry” and “mortified…”
