Rep. Michele Bachmann Says MSNBC Hosts Are ‘Stalkers,’ One of them Responds
On “The O’Reilly Factor” last night, Minnesota GOP Rep. Michele Bachmann talked about having “personal stalkers” alluding to certain, though unnamed, MSNBC anchors.
O’Reilly: “Does it bother you that NBC News is using its cable arm to make your life difficult?”
Bachmann: “You know, not really I grew up with three bothers and that’s the best preparation for politics that anyone can have.”
MSNBC’s Keith Olbermann responds to TVNewser, “Having had an actual stalker myself, I think the Congresswoman needs to apologize to women (and men) whose lives are blighted and ruined by such terror and threat. Not even in the mildest of senses – of journalists whose aggressiveness might verge colloquially into ‘stalking’ – is she anywhere close to being such a victim.”
Bachmann, a two-term Congresswoman, made headlines last October during an appearance on “Hardball” when she said, “I wish the American media would take a great look at the views of the people in Congress and find out if they are pro-America or anti-America.”
