Republican Congressman About Glenn Beck: “Here’s What I Suggest: Turn That Television Off”

Those town halls continued over the weekend across the country, and at one, held by South Carolina Republican congressman Bob Inglis Thursday night, Fox News host Glenn Beck came up.

Responding to a woman toward the front of the crowd, Rep. Inglis said, “There’s a suggestion up here. A suggestion to watch Glenn Beck. Here’s what I suggest: turn that television off.”

That did not sit well with the constituents. And even Rep. Inglis’s explanation was hard to hear over the jeers.
