CNN’s American Morning expanded to four hours on Monday. It was a bit of an adjustment for Miles and Soledad O’Brien:

6:00am: “It’s kind of early, isn’t it?…I think my vacation was one hour short.”

6:00am: “No, your clocks are not wrong.”

6:30am: “I’ve [had] 17 cups of coffee already.”

6:50am: “We don’t want to get into the intricacies of chroma-key this morning…It’s way too early. It’s way too early for that.”

7:00am: “For those of you just tuning in, we’ve already been on for an hour.”

8:10am: “It’s long, but it’s worth it here on American Morning.”

9:00am: “Reset your alarm, change your TiVo, do what you have to do.”

9:00am: “Change your life to join us first thing in the morning.”
