Sanjay Gupta Fills In on ‘AC360′

CNN’s Dr. Sanjay Gupta filled-in for Anderson Cooper on “AC360″ last night, his first time subbing as the anchor. Erica Hill was the regular substitute until she left the program to become the full-time news anchor on CBS’ “Early Show” in January.

In place of “the shot” segment, Gupta had a birthday surprise for CNN political correspondent Jessica Yellin. Video:

Unfortunately, Gupta’s debut as an “AC360″ anchor did not go completely smoothly…
