Scarborough’s View on Newsroom Boos

2007-08-16MSNBCMJScarborough.jpgOn his morning show today, Joe Scarborough said some MSNBC staffers once openly booed President Bush while watching him on newsroom monitors. It happened during the 2003 State of the Union speech; the anchor says he confronted his boss, Phil Griffin, about the incident. The topic arose as Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski discussed a Seattle Times editor who reprimanded newsroom colleagues Tuesday for cheering Karl Rove‘s resignation.

NewsBusters quickly posted video of the Morning Joe comments.

Later, Scarborough saluted NewsBusters’ “ruthless efficiency” in getting the clip on their site.
