Settlement Reached in ABC News Primetime Lawsuit

The New York Post reports ABC News has settled a lawsuit filed against the program “Primetime” and Diane Sawyer regarding the 2006 special, “Stepfamilies in Crisis.” No details of the settlement were released.

We reported Kyle Nelson had filed the lawsuit in February 2008 after the special showed the woman, who was 15 at the time, being abused by her stepfather.
