Several TVNewsers To Pick Up CINE Award

goldeneagle_6-30.JPGThe newest recipients of the CINE Golden Eagle Awards were announced today.

In the professional news division, MSNBC picked up an award in the “Investigative” category for Richard Engel‘s “War Zone Diary“.

Also, in the category “Informational,” HDNet won for “Turkey at a Crossroads,” produced by Andrew Paterson.

Other wins go to NBC for two of its MSNBC promos, four awards for Current TV and several to Discovery, National Geographic TV and History Channel.

The CINE Golden Eagle Awards are presented twice a year for, “high quality production in a variety of content categories for professional, independent and student filmmakers.”
