Shannon Sharpe Appears on CBS Pregame Despite Potential Legal Trouble
Could this be the beginning of the end for CBS’s NFL Today co-host Shannon Sharpe?
According to the New York Post:
A woman named Michele Bundy, believed to be Sharpe’s girlfriend, was granted a temporary restraining order against him on Thursday in Atlanta’s Fulton County Superior Court. The dispute has been classified as a “family violence” case, though it is not known why Bundy filed for the restraining order.
Phil Mushnick reports women have filed 10 civil complaints against Sharpe since 1994.
The former Denver Broncos star, who appeared on the CBS show Sunday, joined the network in 2004. He appeared on the pregame show Sunday, with network brass saying that no charges had been filed.
