Shaun White Makes the TV Rounds, but Not ‘The Early Show’
Over the weekend we told you about how the CBS Early Show lost out to Oprah Winfrey in booking Olympic gold-medalist Shaun White. In a blog post, the producer who was working with White’s camp to get him on the show wrote, “Oprah’s people clamped down, saying Shaun couldn’t do an interview before their show. We are now working with his people to reschedule.”
Well, “The Early Show” has given up on booking White, TVNewser has learned, especially since the snowboarder has already made other TV appearances. “Good Morning America” this morning, CNN a couple hours after that, Fox Business with Eric Bolling this afternoon. And he pre-taped an interview that will air on WNBC’s afternoon show LX New York.
