Shelley Ross an Early No Show
Insiders tell TVNewser Shelley Ross, the Senior EP of CBS’s The Early Show, did not show up for work today or yesterday. Ross has been under the microscope for several days after reports in the NYPost and New York Times speculated that her days at CBS are numbered.
Ross, who took over as the show’s top producer in September, held a staff meeeting after Monday’s broadcast to address the news reports. Insiders tell TVNewser the meeting was “constructive” and that a lot of internal issues were discussed, including the timing of certain meetings and Ross’ lack of responsiveness to emails.
