Slow News Week: Horse Herpes and Polo Edition

With the long Memorial Day weekend, it was inevitable that a few “holiday weekend” stories would trickle over to Monday. One of those stories was a doozy: due to an outbreak of horse herpes, young women participating in a rodeo pageant were forced to ride stick ponies instead of the real thing.
