Smith Takes on Coulter Over Victimhood
The Ann Coulter media blitz rolled into CBS’ The Early Show this morning, and Harry Smith was welcomed with a warm greeting from the conservative author.
“Today you are the most brilliant person…I am totally reconsidering my approach of attacking everyone in the media I then want to interview me for my books,” said Coulter.
Throughout the interview though, Smith, who said he “read 150 pages” of her new book, described her as “goofy” and “sophomoric,” and took her on regarding her description of victims. “The more I listen to your complaints, the more I kept thinking, ‘well you’re the whiner, you’re the one claiming victimhood here,” he said.
Also, the interview was labeled “exclusive,” although Coulter was on Fox & Friends less than an hour later (and on “Hannity & Colmes” last night).
