Someone Forgot to Pay the Electric Bill at 30 Rock

In a funny coincidence, two NBC News shows lost their lights in the past 24 hours.

Last night on NBC “Nightly News,” correspondent Jeff Rossen was left in the dark when his lights went down during a live shot from Rio de Janeiro. Rossen is reporting on the David Goldman custody case.

Then this morning, during an in-studio interview on MSNBC’s “Morning Meeting,” Dylan Ratigan and a guest were in the dark for a moment, forcing the control room to cover the shot with b-roll of the president.

GE sells its controlling interest in NBC and all of a sudden the light bulbs start going…?
