Someone Get Kyra Phillips Her Scripts and Prompter

CNN anchor Kyra Phillips, anchoring from New York, had some technical problems this afternoon as the 1pmET hour of CNN Newsroom got underway. Co-anchor Don Lemon, back in Atlanta, took over as Phillips was left wordless.

Phillips has been in New York since late April, where she filled in on American Morning while Kiran Chetry was on maternity leave. And for those readers who’ve asked, we hear Phillips heads back to Atlanta early next month.
