SOTU: MSNBC Tops CNN In Prime Demo
MSNBC topped CNN in the 25-54 demo in primetime on Tuesday night.
“We already knew that our State of the Union coverage was by far the most interesting and comprehensive, but now we learn that we beat CNN handily in the key demographic for the night as well,” Dan Abrams said in an memo to staffers this afternoon.
MSNBC averaged 644,000 demo viewers in primetime, compared to CNN’s 553,000. (CNN had 1.74 million total viewers, ahead of MSNBC’s 1.38 million.)
