Still Photographer David Hume Kennerly Becomes NBC News Contributing Editor

kennerlymar23.jpgVeteran photographer David Hume Kennerly has been named NBC News Contributing Editor, Steve Capus announced today.

Kennerly had the same title at Newsweek for ten years, but he left the newsmag on January 1. At NBC, he “will provide special still-photo essays on a variety of topics” for all the company’s media platforms. “He will also provide NBC News with expert analysis for issues relating to President Gerald Ford.”

Kennerly was Ford’s official photographer from 1974 to 1977. For a few years in the 90′s, he was a contributor to ABC’s GMA Sunday. Here is his full bio…
