Synergy! NBC News Delivers Double Dose of Ricky Gervais In Advance of Golden Globes Hosting Gig

Did you hear? Despite promising–twice–that he would not host the show again, comedian Ricky Gervais has been tapped to host the Golden Globes on January 15.

Not about to let some good synergy get away, NBC (which televises the awards show) had “Today” anchor Matt Lauer interview Gervais. The first part of the interview ran Friday on “Today,” with part two slated to run tonight on “Dateline.”
