NBC News and MSNBC have slated their coverage plans for the 2010 midterm elections.
On the broadcast network, “NBC Nightly News” anchor Brian Williams will lead coverage during the 6:30 PM newscast and a “Decision 2010″ special from 9-11 PM.
Williams will be joined by “Meet the Press” moderator David Gregory, former “Nightly News” anchor Tom Brokaw, correspondents Andrea Mitchell, Savannah Guthrie and Lester Holt, NBC News Washington Bureau Chief Mark Whitaker and NBC News Political Director and Chief White House Correspondent Chuck Todd.
As is currently in vogue, NBC is promoting the technology it will use to explain the results, including “virtual reality technology,” iPads and touchscreens.
Meanwhile, MSNBC will have the opinion hosts front and center for its coverage:
