Tampa Bay Are Early Favorites For Hard Knocks
Assuming there’s a NFL season, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are the leading candidate to be featured on HBO’s Hard Knocks this summer, according to Pat Yasinskas of ESPN.com.
According to a league source, the New Orleans Saints, Oakland Raiders and four other teams also are in the running. An official decision is not expected until later in the spring.
Sorry Raheem Morris and Josh Freeman, but crazy equals ratings, and you have a whole bunch of crazy in Oakland with Al Davis. Plus, the Raiders are legitimately on the rise following their 8-8 season.
It’s going to take a lot to top Rex Ryan and the New York Jets, but watching four weeks of Davis in high definition will give the foul-mouthed head coach a run for his money.
