TCA: Four Hours Of Planet In Peril On CNN — In HD — In October

Anderson Cooper and his senior EP David Doss appeared on a panel on Sunday to promote CNN’s upcoming four-hour documentary Planet in Peril. Building off 360′s reports of the same name, it’ll air on Oct. 23 and 24 at 10pm.

The “CNN Presents” special “takes viewers to places where environmental change is not a theory or just a future forecast, but a crisis happening in real time,” the press release says.

“Some documentaries convey alarming statistics and others utilize stunning cinematography, but Planet in Peril brings it all together,” Jon Klein says, apparently contrasting his special with Planet Earth. The special is being “shot and produced using state-of-the-art high-definition equipment.”

Cooper reports segments along with Jeff Corwin and Dr. Sanjay Gupta. It sounds impressive. Here’s the companion web site…
