‘The Good Wife’ Takes on Cable News Commentators

Is this “The Good Wife” character supposed to be Glenn Beck and Bill O’Reilly? The L.A. Times Show Track blog thinks so.

In context of the episode however, Duke Roscoe might be more far more reminiscent of another commentator. The synopsis reads: “Duke is being sued for the wrongful death of Cheryl Willens, a women driven to suicide by his enthusiastic smear campaign. (He accused Cheryl of killing her daughter, who later turns up alive).”

HLN’s Nancy Grace has been involved in a similar lawsuit from a 2006 incident. Grace was also fictionalized on “Law & Order: Criminal Intent” as the character Faith Yancy. Full episode. More: The program drew 13.85M viewers last night.
