Last December, Steve Capus said Dateline was going to take the format of To Catch A Predator “and apply it to other topics that have nothing to do with sexual predators.”

This sounds like it: “As the nation continues to hear the horror stories of children being abducted, homes being invaded, and alerts to be aware of, Dateline has put Americans’ vigilance to the test with the help of Today’s security consultant, Bill Stanton.”
