The “Thrill” of Sotomayor, and the Agony of a Bad Graphic

MSNBCBurris_7.13.jpgIt’s been one of those days for Chris Matthews – the kind that gets him on the blogs.

First, during coverage of the confirmation hearings of Sonia Sotomayor, Matthews said, “Well, I’m getting one of those thrills, I get about America. I’m sorry. I shouldn’t say this. But I’m getting it again.”

Then, later on Hardball, Matthews was talking about a new Wall Street Journal survey of economists rating Pres. Obama’s handling of the economic crisis. He got a 70 out of 100. Only problem: they used an image of Obama’s Senate successor, Sen. Roland Burris instead of Obama.
