> CBS announced today that Joe Trippi is officially joining CBS News as a political consultant. Trippi had served as a senior advisor to the John Edwards presidential campaign.

> FBN Midwest correspondent Jeff Flock reported today from a Chicago grocery store for the launch of “Fox Business Shopping Cart.” The monthly FBN index tracks prices of 32 common grocery basket items using data from the Consumer Price Index.

> NBC’s Today show is making many classic TV fans dreams come true this week, as they reunite cast members from various TV shows. Today they featured the cast of Happy Days, while tomorrow the cast of One Day at a Time will appear live in the studio. Later this week, Murphy Brown, among other shows.
